Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 13 June 2026

This policy explains how OmiGroup collects, uses, shares and protects personal data on omikg.omigroup.vn, and the rights you have. OmiKG is operated by OmiGroup, which is the data controller for this website.

1. Information we collect

We collect: (a) information you provide — via the contact form, your name, organization, email and message; (b) usage data, only if you accept analytics cookies — pages viewed, approximate region and device/browser type, via Google Analytics; (c) technical & security data — your IP address, user agent and request metadata, processed by Cloudflare to host, secure and run the Turnstile anti-spam check. We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal data or children's data through the contact form — please do not include such data in your message.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to respond to and follow up on your enquiry; to operate, secure and improve the website; to prevent spam, fraud and abuse; to measure aggregate usage where you have consented; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for automated decisions that produce legal effects, and we never sell it.

3. Legal basis

We rely on your consent (for analytics cookies, withdrawable at any time); the need to handle your request (responding to the contact form); keeping the site secure and preventing abuse, as permitted by law; and compliance with legal obligations. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.

4. Cookies & similar technologies

Essential: your cookie/consent choice is stored locally in your browser and is not used for tracking. Analytics: Google Analytics cookies (e.g. _ga) load only after you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. Anti-spam: Cloudflare Turnstile sets no tracking cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clearing this site's data or via your browser settings.

5. Service providers & international transfers

We share data with trusted providers acting as our processors and, for some purposes, as independent controllers under their own notices: Google (Analytics), Twilio SendGrid (delivering contact-form emails) and Cloudflare (hosting, security and the Turnstile anti-spam check). As these providers operate globally, your data may be processed on servers outside Vietnam; where required, we follow Vietnam's cross-border transfer rules. We do not sell or rent your personal data.

Turnstile may run invisibly; for how Cloudflare processes its data, see: Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

6. Data retention

We keep contact-form data only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, then delete or anonymize it. Analytics data is kept for the retention period configured in Google Analytics (up to 14 months for a standard property). Where the law requires a longer period, we retain data accordingly.

7. Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and trusted infrastructure — to protect personal data against loss, misuse or unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Under Vietnam's Law on Personal Data Protection (No. 91/2025/QH15) and other applicable laws, you may: be informed about the processing; access and obtain a copy of your data; correct or update it; delete it or withdraw consent; restrict or object to processing; lodge a complaint with the competent authority; and seek other remedies provided by law (including denunciation or compensation). To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below; we respond within the time limits required by law.

9. Children's privacy

This website is intended for a professional and adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party websites (e.g. OmiGroup and research venues). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their policies separately.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date, so please review it periodically.
